Digital and cyber security are two of the biggest and most frequently mentioned risks in the IRM's 2019 Risk Predictions and the World Economic Forum's recent Global Risk Report.
To help support organisations and risk professional better prepare for these evolving threats, the IRM, with support from the WMG Cyper Security Centre at the University of Warwick, have developed the new Digital Risk Management Certificate.

The course covers how to carry out digital risk assessments, provides a detailed grounding in cyber security principles and practices and also looks at the ethical issues surrounding both privacy and machine learning.
The key topics covered are:

- The digital world and the "4th industrial revolution"
- Digital disruption, organisational and societal change
- Risk management principles and practices in relation to digital risk
- Ethical implications of digital innovation
- Principles and practice of cyber security and incident management and
- Audit and assurance for digital and emerging risk
The enrolment period for the first exam session in November 2019 is now open until 28th February 2019 and is offered at the special introductory price of £995.
