GF365 ventures north of the border this coming August, and we’re delighted to bring you GREENFLEET Scotland, the online event that is ‘Driving e-Mobility across Scotland’.

With a charging infrastructure that is the envy of the rest of the UK, Scotland is widely recognised as a region that have ‘got it right’. Thanks to the vision of Transport Scotland, public charge points now number more than 1,000 across the country… A significant increase since the launch of ChargePlace Scotland and the 55 chargers, back in 2013.

But there is still work to be done… And that work will continue from Transport Scotland. Now it’s the turn of the organisations that have vehicles using the road network. The race is on to clean up the air across Scotland, and the electrification of transport will play a significant role in reducing air quality issues… This is where YOU come in!

Here's what we have in store for you on 13 August, online:

#ConnectingScotland… Online! The event programme is finalised and we have a stellar line-up of experts, ready to deliver all you need to get started on your own electrification pathway. We will look at strategy, public sector fleet electrification and procurement, grants and funding and whole life cost.

Coupled with the very latest in clean vehicle technology and workplace and public charging solutions, we will leave no stone unturned when it comes to mapping out what YOU need to put together a strategy and head towards Net-Zero.

Meet the experts…

They’re waiting backstage… Check out the list of experts we have waiting to greet you on the day. First up, in Session 1, we have Rob Gould of OLEV and Chris Champion of Transport Scotland, discussing Governance and Strategy. They’re followed, in Session 2, by Neil Leckie of Energy Saving Trust and Tammy Carter from Crown Commercial Service as we get down and ‘talk money’. They will be joined by the first of the sponsors that are helping us bring you this event, Kevin Riddell of Daimler Fleet Management.

Session 3 moves on to Energy and Supply and we are delighted to be joined by Gary McRae of Urban Foresight. The former Corporate Fleet Manager for Dundee City Council, he was instrumental in all the great work that the city has seen over the last few years and he will showcase the Mobility Innovation Lab. Gary is joined by our sponsors, Shayne Rees from ubitricity and Stephen Rennie of Connected Kerb.

We wrap up with a look at the clean vehicle technology available to fleet managers and we hear from Sukky Choongh of SMMT and she will be joined by Lorraine Fellowes from Kia Motors UK and Dominic Gill of Volvo Car UK.

So, can you afford NOT to join us? We’re online, so no need to worry about masks, gloves and social distancing… Simply REGISTER HERE… Sit back… And wait to hear more!
