GF365 Online Events… we keep you safe… you #StayConnected.

Here’s a look at what’s coming up this September…

GREENFLEET Cymru returns 10 September, 10am.

On Thursday we will be joined by the Welsh Government who will tell us about their clean transport strategy and how it fits with their 2050 decarbonisation of Wales plans. They will cover issues from rapid and fast charging infrastructure to buses and taxis and discuss how they can work with Welsh public and private sector fleets to make the necessary changes that will result in cleaner Wales.

Complimenting the Welsh government, we have an expert speaker line-up of  OLEV, Crown Commercial Service, SMMT and National Grid who will provide you with all the information you need about the UK strategy and how we get to ‘net-zero,’ along with the financial help available for you, new technology and more.

Kevin Booker, in charge of fleet at Brecon Beacons National Park Authority will provide a case study and talk about how he has moved his companies fleet to EVs; the environmental benefits and longer term monetary savings of moving to EVs and his plans to phase out petrol and diesel completely by early next year.

These experts will also all be on hand to answer all your electromobility questions.

23 September, 9.30am, sees the return of Commercial GREENFLEET.

With air quality at the top of central and local government agendas, traditionally fuelled commercial vehicles are rapidly becoming unviable in UK cities.

Commercial GREENFLEET 2020 will connect fleet managers and those responsible for transport in the private and public sectors with electric and alternative fuel specialists, government departments, trade associations, low carbon trailblazers and technology innovators.

The first session will look at Policy and Incentives, where we will be joined by OLEV and Logistics UK.

Session Two: 'Electric - A Solution for Commercial?' will see case studies from IKEA, GRIDSERVE and The AA and a look at the latest electric vehicle technology from Maxus.

The final session will cover alternative fuels, where we will have case studies from National Grid and Ocado. There will also be a number of break out sessions and virtual exhibitions stands that you can visit engage and interactive with.

We've got everything covered...
