Join us live, online, 10am, 10 September 2020

This Thursday at GREENFLEET Cymru we will be joined by the Welsh Government. David Fisher, Economy, Skills and Natural Resources will tell us about the Welsh Government's Clean Transport Strategy and how it fits with their 2050 Decarbonisation of Wales plans. He will cover a range of issues from rapid and fast charging infrastructure to buses and taxis and discuss how they can work with Welsh public and private sector fleets to make the necessary changes that will result in the ultimate of goal of a cleaner Wales.

As well as the Welsh Government, we have a fantastic expert speaker line-up for you:

Partners, the UK government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles, will join us to  outline the UK strategy and how we get to ‘net-zero,’ along with the financial help that is out there to help you achieve this.

Crown Commercial Service will be with us to help local authorities, NHS, blue-light and government agencies get ‘bang for their buck’, through the ‘Fleet’ and ‘Charging & Infrastructure’ frameworks.

SMMT, who represent the motor industry, will explain what work is going on from their members – the vehicle manufacturers – to ensure that the coming technology is future-proof and will help all of us on the ‘road to zero’.

Then there’s the power… The Grid… National Grid knows what needs to happen and they’re ready. National Grid will be with us to explain what their own plans are, to help ensure that the ‘energy’ sector is ready.

Finally, we have a case study from Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, which will explain how they have moved their fleet to EVs; the environmental benefits and longer term monetary savings of moving to EVs and their plans to phase out petrol and diesel completely by early next year.

All of these experts will also be on hand to answers your electromobility questions.

GREENFLEET Cymru will not only help you make an educated decision on your next steps to playing your part in the region’s push for cleaner air… but it will also show you how you can SAVE MONEY at the same time!

Add to that, that this event is FREE TO ATTEND, ONLINE, and there really is no reason why you shouldn’t APPLY FOR A PLACE NOW!
