TWO DAYS TO GO UNTIL THE UK’S LEADING ELECTRIFICATION EXPERTS JOIN US IN WALES

MAKE SURE YOU’RE THERE TOO!

GREENFLEET Cymru returns this Thursday and we have an incredible speaker line-up waiting for you.

The Welsh Government will be joining us at GREENFLEET Cymru this Thursday. This is your chance to hear what they have to say and put your questions to them.

David Fisher, Economy, Skills and Natural Resources will be discussing the Welsh Government's Clean Transport Strategy covering a range of areas from rapid and fast charging infrastructure to buses and taxis. He will also let you know how they can help YOU make necessary changes to your fleet, to help towards the ultimate goal of a cleaner Wales.

Senior Policy Advisor for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure, Antony Henderson, Office for Low Emission Vehicles, will outline the UK strategy and how we get to ‘net-zero’. He will explain the financial help that is out there to help you achieve this.

Head of Fleet at Crown Commercial Service, Jo Kenny will be joining us to help local authorities, NHS, blue-light and government agencies get ‘bang for their buck’, through the ‘Fleet’ and ‘Charging & Infrastructure’ frameworks.

Environmental Manager – Air Quality and Ultra Low Emission Vehicles,  Sukky Choongh from The SMMT, who represent the motor industry will explain what work is going on from their members – the vehicle manufacturers – to ensure that the coming technology is future-proof and will help all of us on the ‘road to zero.’

Senior Project Manager at National Grid, Russell Fowler will be with us to discuss power and their plans to make sure the energy sector is prepared.

Kevin Booker, in charge of fleet at Brecon Beacons National Park Authority will provide a case study talking about how he has moved his companies fleet to EVs; the environmental benefits and longer term monetary savings of moving to EVs and his plans to phase out petrol and diesel completely by early next year.

All of these experts will be on hand to answer all your electromobility questions in the Q&A sessions.

If you are the Fleet or Transport Manager and look after the vehicles, you need to join us. If your role is Estates and Facilities, then we have the charging and infrastructure solutions you need. Do you have a CSR policy, or environmental strategy in place? Then we have all the information an Environmental or Sustainability Professional requires. And finally, there’s the money. Electrification is not FREE, so the Procurement teams should be joining us, as well as HR too, because there are some fantastic financial reasons for your staff to be driving electric vehicles.

No need for social distancing… No need for face masks and gloves, nor sanitiser neither… And all from the safety and comfort of your ‘home office’ or even workplace.
