Anthony Henderson, Senior Policy Advisor for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure at our ‘Partners,’ the UK government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles, will outline the UK strategy and how we get to ‘net-zero’. He will explain the financial help that is out there to help you achieve this. Jo Kenny, Commercial Manager at Crown Commercial Service will be joining us to help local authorities, NHS, blue-light and government agencies get ‘bang for their buck’, through the ‘Fleet’ and ‘Charging & Infrastructure’ frameworks. Sukky Choongh, Environmental Manager – Air Quality and Ultra Low Emission Vehicles at The SMMT, who represent the motor industry will explain what work is going on from their members – the vehicle manufacturers – to ensure that the coming technology is future-proof and will help all of us on the ‘road to zero’. And then there’s the power… The Grid… National Grid know what needs to happen and they’re ready. Russell Fowler, Senior Project Manager, National Grid will be joining us to explain what their plans are, to help ensure that the ‘energy’ sector is ready.
