Two days to go until emergency GREENFLEET II
Have you registered for this free online event helping the UK Emergency Service Sectors on their electrification journeys?
15 OCTOBER, 9.30am LIVE ON GF365
emergency GREENFLEET returns this Thursday to deliver key information to help the police, fire, ambulance and MoD sectors, as they journey through their electrification strategies.
After it's successful launch in April, we are delighted to be running this second event with the support of our Partners – Office for Low Emission Vehicles, Crown Commercial Service, National Grid, SMMT and NAPFM.
Here's a look at what you can expect during the second half...
|
Session 3: Charging Infrastructure – Planning & Implementation
Dr Russell Fowler, National Grid, will provide an in-depth overview of what is happening in terms of UK power distribution and how it affects you and your requirements. Nicole Fletcher will give us an insight in to where London Fire Brigade have got on their electrification journey, with a focus on workplace/depot charging. We will wrap up the session with expert analysis including case study examples from Simon Swan at specialist consultancy Arcadis and Dr Chris Jardine at innovative charging solutions provider Joju Charging.
|
Session 4: Maintenance & Operational Costs – No pain, plenty of gain…
Steve Imm of Gloucestershire Constabulary will talk to us about what is needed to keep EVs operational. Having the right workshop infrastructure, tools and trained staff is crucial and the event will give an overview of what changes need to be made. SImon Lee from Euro Car Parts will discuss maintenance training and we'll wrap up with a piece from Stuart Somerville of Babcock International, an organisation who can help you through the whole process.
|
Join us for an online gathering of professionals and experts, where you can engage, exchange ideas, discuss strategies, form alliances, and more.
This event will feature Breakout Sessions, where delegates get to pick and choose which room they want to dip into and network and all of this will be wrapped up with a visit to the virtual EXPO, which is extra time for delegates to roam around and discover more about the vehicles, products and solutions that are there to help everyone on the electrification journey.
We're ready... are you?
