emergency GREENFLEET returns tomorrow to deliver key information to help the police, fire, ambulance and MoD sectors, as they journey through their electrification strategies.

 

After the first four sessions covering Policy, Purchasing & Incentives, Clean Vehicle Technology & Acquisition, Charging Infrastructure and Maintenance & Operational Costs, we will open 5 breakout rooms where you can go and put your questions to the experts. You can choose whichever breakout rooms suits your needs best or dip in and out of multiple rooms. It's completely your choice...

 

Breakout Room 1: Policy Purchasing & Incentives

Deputy Head of OLEV, Phil Killingley will chair the room and  be on hand to answer your questions on Government policy, incentives and the assistance available to you. John Gorton, Chair of NAPFM, from Kent & Essex Police will be there to answer any questions on the UK police electrification strategy and purchasing. Jo Osborne from BlueLight Commercial, will be there to discuss the 'Lots' within the purchasing framework as well as Tammy Carter from Crown Commercial Service who can talk you through the public sector purchasing framework.

 

Breakout Room 2: Clean Vehicles Technology & Acquisition

 

Chaired by Sukky Choongh of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, she will be joined by Mike Haran of Maxus who will be available to talk about electric commercial vehicles and James Mackintosh of Toyota GB will be available to talk about hybrid for business. Jeanette Griggs of Volvo Special Vehicles can answer questions on their blue light range and Chris Chandler of Lex Autolease provide help on fleet finance.

 

Breakout Room 3: Charging Infrastructure

Dr. Russell Fowler of National Grid will be here to discuss any questions on UK power distribution. He will be joined by Nicole Fletcher, Head of Sustainable Development at London Fire Brigade who will be able to share advice learnt from her experiences. Simon Swan of Arcadis will also be able to answer your questions on charging alongside Dr Chris Jardine of Joju Charging.

 

Breakout Room 4: Maintenance Upgrades & Operational Costs

Alexis Percival will be here to share her experiences on electrifying the fleet at Yorkshire Ambulance Service. She will be joined by Steve Imm, Head of Transport at Gloucestershire Constabulary who can answer all your questions on keeping your fleet operational. Stuart Somerville of Babcock International will help you with all things engineering and training and Simon Lee or Euro Car Parts will have all your questions answered on technician training.

 

Breakout Room 5: The NAPFM showcase

Chaired by GREENFLEET Ambassador Kate Armitage, you can put your questions to Joanna Neale, NAPFM Event Manager as well as Roy McClarty of Code 3, who design and manufacture products for the emergency services from beacons, light bars and camera systems. they will also be joined by Nic Richell, Safeguard SVG who are a one-stop shop for conversion facilities for blue light sector fleets.

 

 

Join us for an online gathering of professionals and experts, where you can engage, exchange ideas, discuss strategies, form alliances, and more.

 

This event will be wrapped up with a visit to the virtual EXPO, which is extra time for you to roam around and discover more about the vehicles, products and solutions that are there to help everyone on the electrification journey.
