emergency GREENFLEET II returns 15 October, 9.30am to deliver the key information that the police, fire, ambulance and MoD sectors need, as they embark on their electrification strategies.

Following the successful launch of this new event in the GREENFLEET portfolio, back in April, we are delighted to be running the second event scheduled for 2020, with the support of our Partners – Office for Low Emission Vehicles, Crown Commercial Service, National Grid and SMMT, with additional guidance coming from NAPFM and Ministry of Defence.

emergency GREENFLEET have put together a programme for the event that is designed to not only give you the very latest from UK government, but also highlight the products, services and solutions that are out there too. To make sure that you can see what is possible, we have drafted in some case study models too, delivered by innovative, forward-thinking blue light fleet managers. But we also realise it’s not simply about the vehicles and the charge points. What about ‘maintenance and upkeep?' Well, we have that covered too. Check out what we have planned for you, on the day…

Session 1: Policy, Purchasing & Incentives – A new kind of PPI

Hear from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), with the latest on government policy and he incentives and assistance that is there to help you. They will be followed by Crown Commercial Service (CCS), to guide you through the latest public sector purchasing frameworks.

Session 2: Clean Vehicle Technology & Acquisition –

Making the right choice

Yorkshire Ambulance Service give an overview of the ULEVs they have already introduced to their fleet and what difference they have made, in terms of running costs and efficiency. They will be followed by vehicle and financing solutions presentations from Maxus, Toyota and Lex Autolease.

Session 3: Charging Infrastructure – Planning & Implementation

National Grid will provide an in-depth overview of what is happening in terms of UK power distribution and how it affects you and your requirements, and we follow that up with an insight into what one fire service has already done with workplace/depot charging. We wrap up with a piece from innovative charge point specialist, joju charging, featuring real-life case study details too.

Session 4: Workshop Upgrades – All change for in-house EV maintenance

Hear from John Gorton, Kent & Essex Police and Chair of NAPFM, as he explains what is needed to keep EVs operational. Having the right workshop infrastructure, tools and trained staff is crucial and the MoD will give an overview of what changes they have made too. We wrap up with a piece from an organization that can guide you through the whole process, Babcock Engineering.

NEW: The emergency GREENFLEET Break-Out Sessions

GF365 has been adapted to offer break-out sessions where YOU get the chance to join a ‘room’ and hear more from the presenters on their specialist subjects and they will also be joined by additional experts, on-hand to make sure you leave the event with everything you need to move forward with your electrification strategy.
