Following the successful launch in April, we are delighted to be running this second installment.

 

emergency GREENFLEET have put together a programme that is designed to not only give you the very latest from UK government, but also highlight the products, services and solutions that are out there too.

 

We've drafted in some innovative, forward-thinking blue light fleet managers to provide you with case studies and this event will also have a special focus maintenance and upkeep.

 

Here's a look at what we've got in store for you...

 

Session 1: Policy, Purchasing & Incentives – A new kind of PPI

Hear from the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), with the latest on government policy and he incentives and assistance that is there to help you. They will be followed by Crown Commercial Service (CCS), to guide you through the latest public sector purchasing frameworks.

 

Session 2: Clean Vehicle Technology & Acquisition –

Making the right choice

Yorkshire Ambulance Service give an overview of the ULEVs they have already introduced to their fleet and what difference they have made, in terms of running costs and efficiency. They will be followed by vehicle and financing solutions presentations from Maxus, Toyota and Lex Autolease.

 

Session 3: Charging Infrastructure – Planning & Implementation

National Grid will provide an in-depth overview of what is happening in terms of UK power distribution and how it affects you and your requirements, and we follow that up with an insight into what one fire service has already done with workplace/depot charging. We wrap up with a piece from innovative charge point specialist, joju charging, featuring real-life case study details too.

 

Session 4: Workshop Upgrades – All change for in-house EV maintenance

Hear from John Gorton, Kent & Essex Police and Chair of NAPFM, as he explains what is needed to keep EVs operational. Having the right workshop infrastructure, tools and trained staff is crucial and the MoD will give an overview of what changes they have made too.
