GreenFleet Events' aim is primarily to spread national awareness of electric and ultra-low emission motoring technology, specifically targeting fleet managers in the hope of improving the UK's plummeting air quality. Dundee is one of eight Go Ultra Low Cities to be awarded part of a £35 million Government funding last year, and GreenFleet DUNDEE will highlight the city's plans and vision for a greener, low-emission future to take place.

INFORMATION ON FUNDING & GRANTS
Energy Saving Trust (EST) offer up to 100% funding for workplace charge points and will provide a sustainable transport review to identify costs and carbon savings that can be applied to fleets. They have up to 100k interest free business loans which can be used for EVs and PHEVs as well as electric bikes and scooters plus HGVs, and do subsidised driver training FuelGood which teaches drivers how to save on fuel whilst driving. As part of their ambitions to reduce the carbon intensity of Scotland’s transport system they have devised a new employee engagement programme aimed at increasing the knowledge of employees to enable them to make the smarter, more cost-effective and greener choice with regards to workplace travel and beyond.
