GreenFleet events have been promoting ultra-low emission vehicles nationally to fleet managers and businesses for the past 12 years, and are now assisting Leeds City Council in preparation towards implementing a Clean Air Zone by the end of 2019.
As Leeds prepares to deliver its strategy to reduce air pollution across the City, in line with the recommendations of the DEFRA / UK Government’s new improvement plan; organisations that operate fleets in and around the city need to ‘ready for change’. Reducing air pollution is key to improving air quality, and transport has a major role to play - GreenFleet’s presence is all about showcasing the very latest in plug-in and electric cars, vans and gas-powered trucks, as well as encouraging businesses to ‘do their bit’ and take responsibility for their contribution, by educating them on the benefits of these vehicles environmentally and financially long term!
