GreenFleet events have been promoting ultra-low emission vehicles nationally to fleet managers and businesses for the past 12 years, and are now assisting Leeds City Council as they prepare to deliver their strategy to reduce air pollution across the city by implementing a Clean Air Zone by the end of 2019. This is in line with the recommendations of the DEFRA/UK Government’s new improvement plan, whereby organisations that operate fleets in and around the city need to ‘ready for change’. GreenFleet LEEDS is a FREE TO ATTEND, 1-Day event for fleet, transport, environmental and sustainability professionals. Following a complimentary breakfast, delegates will then listen to keynote speaker sessions, hosted by TV presenter and motoring journalist, Quentin Willson. You will hear from DfT’s OLEV (Office for Low Emission Vehicles) team, Leeds City Council and experts in vehicle technology, leasing and finance, recharging and refuelling technology and more.
Group sessions follow a mid-morning refreshment break, giving delegates the chance to test drive the latest electric and gas-powered vehicles from some of the world’s leading manufacturers, and we are delighted to announce that Toyota, manufacturers of the world's best-selling hybrid range will be joining us at GreenFleet LEEDS on the 13th July.
