GreenFleet is coming to Warwickshire for the first time on the 25th October 2018. This event will be staged in association with Warwickshire County Council and supported by OLEV. The Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV) showcase will be held at Stoneleigh Park.
This is a great event for fleet managers and professionals, as well as those responsible for their organisation’s environmental and sustainability plans. We give you the opportunity to test-drive ultra-low emission vehicles and speak to experts that produce the innovative products, services and solutions present on the day.
WHY WARWICKSHIRE?
This region is globally renowned as a hotspot for low-emission vehicle excellence, and Warwickshire County Council has underlined its long-term commitment to the low-emission vehicle sector with an Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Strategy through to 2026. The strategy will help to deliver real benefits for Warwickshire.
Objectives in the strategy include:
- To support an integrated network of EV charge points
- To work with charge-point providers to trial modern technologies such as on-street lamppost charging and in-town rapid-charging hubs.
- To require private developers and landowners to provide EV charging
Warwickshire County Council clearly has the same vision as GreenFleet – and is therefore an ideal location for an event of this nature!
EVENT FORMAT
Our unique format is designed to give you an informative and hands-on experience. We achieve this by:
- Enabling you and your colleagues to try out the latest ULEVs first-hand, by test-driving on a specified local route. You will be accompanied by experts from the manufacturers to make sure that any questions you have are answered there and then.
- Organising keynote presentations from industry experts, providing delegates with the latest info on car and van grants.
- Running 'round table' sessions, giving you the opportunity to speak to the vehicle manufacturers and solution providers present on the day, while also networking with other fleet professionals and EV owners.
