GREENFLEET presents the ROAD-2-ZERO ROADSHOW… The series of events designed to help improve Air Quality in UK cities.

In 2018, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) announced the governments Road to Zero Strategy, the ‘next steps towards cleaner road transport and delivering their Industrial Strategy’. With OLEV being a regular feature at our regional events over the last 5 years, it seemed natural that we now focus on the strategy and help deliver it to the masses.

8 UK cities will reap the benefits of the events that make up our ROADSHOW. Beginning in the North East, we will be joined by OLEV and representatives from the local region who will focus on national and regional strategies. The SMMT’s EV Group, representing the manufacturers, will show how current ULEV technology is playing a role in the battle against poor air quality, Crown Commercial Service will speak about the latest on the Electric Vehicle and Leasing Frameworks.

Attendance is FREE for fleet and transport professionals, and those that are implementing their organisation’s sustainability strategy, and each delegate will have their own personalised agenda, ensuring that the day equips everyone with the solutions they need to make clean vehicle technology an integral part of their operation.

KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS

The day begins with a series of keynote presentations from our Event Partners Gateshead Council, the North East Combined Authority, the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) on the UK government’s Road to Zero strategy, and the latest on grants and schemes.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT) EV Group will be there, offering an insight in to what innovative vehicle technology is on the market NOW, and what’s in the pipeline. And if you work for a public sector organisation, we have the very latest on the Frameworks, for the Crown Commercial Service (CCS).

SEMINAR SESSIONS

The seminar session is wrapped up with a Q&A, where YOU get the chance to air your thoughts, and interact with the Speakers themselves.

NETWORKING

Share your thoughts and knowledge with experts in legislation, strategy, vehicle technology, charging solutions, leasing and financing and innovative technology. The late morning and afternoon elements of the event will be structured in private, 30-minute sessions.
