Coventry City Council hosts the Green GB Coventry Conference & EV Roadshow
Designed to highlight the Clean Growth Strategies being Implemented to Combat Poor Air Quality
Coventry is looking to engage with fleet and transport professionals, looking at implementing a cleaner, more efficient transport operation, as well as sustainability, CSR, energy and environmental leaders, looking for the latest in strategy, grants and information, that can help transform their whole business operation. All of this, in the name of ’Clean Growth’.
Coventry City Council are inviting midlands-based businesses along on the 6th November 2019. One of the key elements to the event will be a Green GB Coventry Conference, which is FREE TO ATTEND, and will take place at The Lord Mayor’s Civic Suites, Council House, Coventry.
Opened by Cllr Jim O’Boyle, visitors will hear the very latest on the city’s clean growth strategies, and he will be joined by the Regional Energy Projects Manager Midlands Energy Hub, Coventry City Council Green Business Team, Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV), Western Power Distribution and Transport for West Midlands.
Following the proceedings will be the opportunity to experience the vehicles that will soon become an everyday sighting on the roads across the region, first-hand. Broadgate will play host to the EV Roadshow, a showcase of the very latest ultra-low emission cars, vans and even electric push-bikes, with test drive opportunities available.
