After 4 successful years, EVOLUTION Scotland is returning to the Royal Highland Centre for our 5th Year, and we plan to be BIGGER and BETTER than ever before, with more vehicles, more activities, and even more experts on hand to answer your low carbon motoring questions!
For those of you that don’t know, EVOLUTION is a FREE, family friendly, Motor Show that enables you to get the inside scoop on ultra-low emission and Electric Vehicles (EVs) by delivering a “Touch, Taste, Feel” experience… Meaning you can TEST DRIVE some of the latest and most efficient motoring technology the electric and low emission world has to offer.
So, what other reasons are there for you to attend?
Over the last few years in the UK there has been a remarkable increase in the demand for ULEV’s – new registrations of ULEV cars increased from 2,219 in 2014 to more than 5,600 from January to October in 2017, in Scotland. Sales are increasing rapidly now, and there is now more than twice the amount of Ultra-Low Emission Commercial Vehicles being sold annually, compared to 2014. All in all, this means there are now more than 14,500 ULEVs on the road in Scotland, and with the Scottish Government saying; “Our aim is for new petrol and diesel cars and vans to be phased out in Scotland by 2032”, the time to make the switch to Ultra-Low is NOW!

YOUNG DRIVER™ is BACK! The largest under 17 driving lesson providers in the country returns to EVOLUTION Scotland, offering junior driving lessons to youngsters aged 10-17 or those who may not otherwise be able to have them. As the lessons take place on private property, the rules are more flexible than on the road. Lessons will take place in 1398 cc Vauxhall Corsa with a government approved instructor.
Tesla the luxury all-electric manufacturer everyone has been waiting for, is now officially confirmed for EVOLUTION Scotland! They will be present on the day showcasing the incredible Model X and Model S - both available to test drive.
Alex F Noble & Son are a third generation family-run business whose core values are customer service and satisfaction. They will once again be showcasing the latest ultra-low emission vehicles from Nissan including the new Micra, and the brand new, best selling electric car, the Nissan Leaf!
