GREENFLEET returns to Wales next week for GREENFLEET Cymru.
With the news of the government bringing forward the date to end the sale of petrol and diesel cars, there has never been a more important time to start getting your fleet prepared for the future.

David Fisher, Commercial Solutions Manager, Welsh Government will deliver a keynote presentation, giving an update on the Welsh Government's Electric Vehicle Charging Strategy. He will also be on hand to answer your questions in one of our Q&A sessions.
|
We also have a keynote presentation from the Crown Commercial Service who will discuss their public purchasing frameworks, including a case study from Brecon Beacons National Park. The Brecon Beacon's Fleet Manager, Kevin Booker will also join us for a Q&A.
Kevin is a passionate story-teller of how Brecon Beacons National Park Authority is doing all it can to green its busy fleet to ensure the clean running of the park. Of note, is his passion to lead a team that has fundamentally driven the successful steps the Authority has taken so far. For GREENFLEET Cymru, Kevin will reveal what the Authority has done - with support from Crown Commercial Service - since the end of last year, despite the strict and extensive pandemic restrictions the country has faced.
|
Simon King, Director of Sustainability, Social Value and Fleet at Mitie will also provide us with a case study. Mitie met its 2020 goal of switching 20 per cent (790 vehicles) of its small van and car fleet to electric models three months ahead of schedule and tell us about their Plan Zero commitment to achieving net zero carbon by 2025. Simon will join us next week to discuss their charging strategy.
You will also hear about the latest vehicles from Toyota & Lexus Fleet and Volvo, LeasePlan explain Salary Sacrifice and charging specialist ubitricity join to help you with all your charging needs.
