Twice named one of the top 50 most influential people in UK IT, Tony has been awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2014. As a G-Cloud and digital commercial programme director he was at the fore front of setting up and designing G-Cloud. Prior to that he was chief operating officer for Directgov and the chief operating officer of the Government Digital Service. So when Civil Service World described Tony as a “government digital pioneer who was the driving force behind government’s G-Cloud framework and Digital Marketplace”, they weren’t wrong.
