David joined Chess in 2015 as technical manager for land and security products and was appointed sales director in 2017, where he is responsible for naval, land and security systems. 

David obtained his electronics qualifications with GEC-Marconi and on secondment as a flight trials engineer he supported the introduction into service of the Tornado aircraft. He then took on his current sales role, which saw David manage the transition from high-performance Cathode Ray Tube manufacture into rugged Flat Panel Monitors. Since joining Chess Dynamics, David has been at the heart of the development, deployment and support of Counter Unmanned Air Systems (C-UAS).
