With checkpoints in places like Stwlan Dam, National Library of Wales and Pendine Beach, this Rally was nothing short of beautiful. Our teams: Transport for Wales, Costelloes EV Group, RenewableUK CYMRU, FSEW, Iceland, Black Horse Finance and Trivallis were able to test electric vehicles while taking in Wales.

Transport for Wales wants to help people travel in ways that are good for the planet, good for the pocket and good for real life. Powering the EV Rally CYMRU is one of the ways TfW is making that mission a reality.

This event showcases the real progress Wales is making in the switch to electric and tackles myths around vehicle range and charging availability. TfW's commitment to this transition is already delivering results. This year, it installed 19 new public fast chargers across 10 stations, and its data-led plan will see this rollout continue to over 40 more across its rail network.
