Holding Our Breath: Air pollution, Clean Air Zones and the role of business is an online event staged on GF365, from 10.00 – 12.00 on Tuesday 24 November.
Join like-minded businesses and hear from ClientEarth and other experts from industry and government. We’ll help you understand planned and future measures to address air pollution and the role of business in ensuring everyone in the UK enjoys the right to breathe clean air.
Hear from Founding CEO, James Thornton, together with Clean Air lawyer, Katherine Nield. Birmingham City Council’s Head of Clean Air Zone, Stephen Arnold, will outline what benefits the city will get from CAZ implementation and Sarah Bell, Public Affairs Manager for UPS outlines the changes they have made to their fleet, to comply with CAZs.

The 2020 GREENFLEET Awards, sponsored by The Algorithm People is the first ever online staging of one of the key events in the UK fleet sector calendar. Join us on GF365, from 14.00 – 16.00 on Wednesday 02 December.

With the continued uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, we felt that we had to bring some form of ‘assurance’ to the sector by making the decision to stage ALL GREENFLEET events online, on GF365, up to and including August. From September onwards… Who knows? Maybe we continue… Maybe we switch to Live events… What we DO know is that none of us can afford to sit still and do nothing. We are already securing positions for manufacturers and industry suppliers, giving them a focus and a plan for at least the first half of next year. We will then work with them as we progress through the calendar.
