Hello,

 

Five million brits can’t carry out simple online tasks like sending emails or browsing the internet, according to research by Cebr and Virgin Media O2 Business.

And it’s creating a digital divide that’s holding some of the UK’s vulnerable people back.

 

To help tackle this and promote more digital inclusion across the UK, Virgin Media O2 Business runs a digital skills programme called Connect More.

 

With support from the company’s own staff volunteers, the programme runs local drop-in sessions where anyone who needs help getting online can come in and ask for help.

 

So far, volunteers have spent 369 hours in communities across the UK and helped 364 people.
