Dear Reader,

As you may be aware, the UK Department for Transport (DfT) formally launched the 2nd phase of the Zero Emission Bus Regional Areas Scheme (ZEBRA 2) in September.

£129m has been committed to support the introduction of zero emission buses in the financial years of 2023/24 and 2024/25.

With Local Transport Authorities across the UK now evaluating this opportunity, I thought you might find a summary of what the scheme entails to be useful:

Enel X works closely with city administrations and public and private transport operators all over the world, helping them to achieve their decarbonisation and sustainability goals. Our Team in the UK would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about how we could support you through the Zebra application process, and beyond.

To date, we have more than 6,000 electric busses and 2,000 EV charging points in operation. We've got millions of electric miles on the clock already so, rest assured, you're in safe hands with Enel X.

Areas in which we support our customers include:

• End to end project delivery including infrastructure considerations when transitioning routes / networks to EVs

• Support innovation with consideration of energy flexibility with respect to sustainability goals and cost optimisation

• Provide advice on project scope and cost to support procurement activity

• Battery energy storage and solar PV solutions to support your fleet

• Energy market access to monetise your flexible electricity capacity

Would you like to have a conversation about how Enel X could support your companies transition to an electric future?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Ryan
