Emergency & MOD GREENFLEET
|
Since its inception during the pandemic in 2020, Emergency & MOD GREENFLEET was born out of a unique request from 'blue light' organisations who sought an event exclusively tailored to their needs. The rationale behind this initiative is clear: the police, fire, and ambulance services, despite being integral to public safety, face many of the same challenges as the wider UK fleet sector. They share the common goal of achieving the net-zero emissions target, but their distinctive operational requirements set them apart and introduce a layer of complexity when it comes to electrification. We will delve into the critical issues and innovative solutions shaping the future of emergency services and MOD fleets.
We will assist those responsible for rapid-response vehicles, particularly in the context of emergency services and MOD fleets. These vehicles are critical in saving lives, often carrying heavy life-saving equipment that demands ample storage space. Furthermore, they are required for extended shifts and quick turnarounds, often returning to the base with a change of driver, only to be back on patrol immediately. Addressing the logistical and sustainability challenges these rapid-response vehicles pose, especially in terms of efficient depot charging solutions, is a key priority.
Join us at the British Motor Museum on October 19th to gain valuable insights that will benefit your net zero strategy. Add to calendar
