A key framework for upholding Awaab’s Law?

With the first phase of this new law coming into effect later this month, we recognise the drive to comply with the new requirements aligns to timely undertakings.

However, the delivery of key disrepair recognitions alongside appropriate remediations designed to improve the situation still remain a concern in our experience.

Why? Because we still witness multiple attempts to resolve in particular damp, condensation and mould related issues have not solved the problems and in some cases they have worsened due to a lack of knowledge in understanding what exactly contributes to damp and mould.

Why? Because it is our opinion there is a disconnect across all skilled trades that does not readily embrace synergy with their outcomes as whole on the dwelling and the occupants and simply aligns to a break in knowledge and understanding of atmospheric behaviour.

To assist the new requirement Cornerstone have developed a unique Property Health App that will serve everyone concerned with living, investigating or remediating reported damp, condensation and mould.

With a clear history of atmospheric management being a key cause, our embedded ‘Did You Know’ process delivers recognisable understandings of things to look for and undertake with a view to dealing with the outcome in a 24/7 approach.

Within the app Cornerstone offer reporting Levels to assist interested parties seeking credible reasoning for an outbreak through to complex cases for timely resolution with a defined report offered for each Level selected that can be used to discuss, resolve or legally challenge a disrepair claim.
