Take a refreshing approach to Psychology and inspire your students with OCR’s new A Level.
|
We're updating our qualification to ensure it remains relevant and engaging, while also enhancing its accessibility and manageability to better support teachers and students.
We're currently working with Ofqual to have our new specification accredited, with first teach planned for September 2026 and the first A Level exams taking place in 2028*. We’re also updating our AS Level.

5 reasons to choose our A Level Psychology
|
|
1. | | Up-to-date content, including the use of AI in mental health. Studies will also be evaluated in a contemporary way, and papers will feature recent research, articles, and topics. |
2. | | Unique topics on environmental and sport and exercise psychology. |
3. | | Fewer core and key studies, allowing more time to support students and prepare for exams. |
4. | | Accessible assessments. This includes having just one statistical test, a consistent paper structure, and fewer marks in the exam. |
5. | | Comprehensive support – from access to an expert subject advisor to a collection of free TV and radio clips and programmes mapped to specification by the Educational Recording Agency (ERA). |
